Titanate Crosslinking Agent

Titanate cross-linking agent can cross-link with active groups such as hydroxyl and carboxyl groups in substrates, inks, and coatings to form bridges and increase molecular weight, thereby improving heat resistance, chemical resistance, and water resistance. Many properties such as sex and dryness are improved. The bridging effect between the resin and the substrate through titanate ultimately improves the adhesion of inks and coatings. To complete the cross-linking reaction in a short time, the system can be heated to higher than 60°C after coating. It is especially suitable for baking alcohol-soluble inks and coatings to improve adhesion, heat resistance, and chemical resistance to plastic substrates. It can also be used for surface treatment of some fillers and fibers.

Titanate coupling agent is multi-functional. It is not only a coupling agent, but also a wetting agent, dispersant, adhesion promoter, cross-linking agent, curing catalyst, rust inhibitor, flame retardant and other functions. The outstanding feature of titanate coupling agent is that it can more closely link inorganic fillers and organic polymers, giving full play to the role of titanate molecules. The use amount is small, but the effect is good.

Titanate cross-linking agent is suitable for high-humidity fillers and water-containing polymer systems, such as precipitated white carbon black, ultrafine aluminum silicate, talc, water-treated glass fiber, carbon black, etc.
