Curing Agent

Thiol series are secondary distillation polythiol mercapto compounds, which have lower odor than conventional polythiols. It can be used in photo-curing systems to significantly improve the oxygen inhibition phenomenon under low-energy curing conditions. The polymerization inhibition of oxygen is mainly due to the formation of peroxyl radicals from free radicals and oxygen in the system, which slows down the chain growth reaction. The active hydrogen in mercaptans can react with peroxyl radicals, and new mercaptans are formed after hydrogen is abstracted. The free radicals continue to participate in the addition reaction. It can significantly promote the adhesion, toughness and double bond conversion rate of the curing system. When tertiary amines are used as accelerators for epoxy curing agents, they can be quickly cured at low temperatures, enhance adhesion and tensile strength, and significantly improve heat and humidity resistance.
