Two-Functional Acrylate UV Monomer

This series of products contains two acrylate functional groups, which are more cross-linked and can form a stronger cross-linked network. Bifunctional acrylic UV monomers cure much faster than monofunctional acrylate UV monomers. These products offer many superior properties, including low volatility, low viscosity and low odor. These monomers have excellent film-forming properties, helping to form strong coatings that are inherently flexible and adaptable to a variety of surfaces and shapes. They excel in terms of economy and are ideal for the cost-effective preparation of coatings, inks and adhesives. The product has balanced performance in various aspects such as glass transition temperature and dilution capacity.

In coatings, these monomers are often used to prepare UV-curable coatings for coating wood, metal, plastic and glass surfaces.

In inks, two-functional acrylate UV monomers are widely used to prepare UV curing inks. These inks cure quickly during high-speed printing processes, providing excellent image quality and abrasion resistance. They can be used as ingredients in UV-curable adhesives for a variety of applications such as packaging, labels, tapes and assembly.

F&Q

F: What are the specific applications of this type of product?

Q: HDDA is a low-viscosity bifunctional monomer with strong dilution ability, excellent adhesion, good solubility and fast reaction speed. It is widely used in coatings, inks and adhesives. TPGDA has one more propoxy group and has better flexibility, and can replace HDDA in some situations.
