Resistant to Yellowing Cationic Photoinitiator
Irgacue 250 is an iodonium salt photoinitiator. The photolysis of iodonium salt photoinitiator can cause homocleavage and heterocleavage at the same time, producing both super acid and active free radicals. Therefore, in addition to initiating cationic photopolymerization, iodonium salts can also initiate free radical polymerization at the same time. It has the characteristics of excellent non-yellowing, no benzene release after curing and excellent curing performance.
Irgacue 250 can be used alone or mixed with appropriate photosensitizers for use in UV-curable inks, adhesives, graphic arts imaging, photoresists, and varnishes on paper, metal and plastic surfaces. Very suitable for high-performance cationic curing varnishes and colored systems with high environmental requirements.
