This product is also called eta6-cumylferrocene (Ⅱ) hexafluorophosphate mixed solution. Eta6-cumylferrocene (Ⅱ) hexafluorophosphate mixture 261 has strong absorption in far ultraviolet and near ultraviolet. After its light absorption and decomposition, it produces cumene and ferrocene Lewis acid, which initiates cationic polymerization. It was found that the absorption peaks at 394nm and 462nm produced by the dd transition were found, and the molar absorption coefficient ε was high.

 

Using high-pressure mercury lamps and LED cold light sources as radiation sources, it has good photoinitiation activity for cation-based curing reactions. High performance cationic curing varnishes and tinted systems for UV curing inks, adhesives, graphic arts imaging, photoresists, paper, metals and plastics.

 

261 photoinitiator has a maximum absorption wavelength of 440nm and is suitable for epoxy resins, vinyl ethers, etc. 261/Epoxy resin compositions often cannot undergo cationic polymerization after light irradiation, but only form a latent curing adhesive layer, which can only be cured by proper heating for a few minutes. It is very suitable for bonding opaque dense materials. The composition must be coated first. On the surface to be adhered, a latent curing adhesive layer is formed after illumination, and then the latent adhesive layer is attached and heated appropriately to form a strong bond.
