Definition and function
Optical lens bonding is the process of precisely fixing multiple optical elements (such as lenses, prisms, filters, etc.) into components through adhesives, which is used to realize the assembly of complex optical systems (such as microscope objective lenses, camera lens modules).
Core requirements:
High precision: Sub-micron alignment to ensure optical axis consistency.
Low stress: The shrinkage rate of glue curing needs to be extremely low (<0.1%) to avoid lens deformation or birefringence.
Light transmittance: The transmittance of the adhesive in the target band (such as visible light, infrared) needs to be >99%.
2. Optical 3D printing
Definition and characteristics
Optical 3D printing is the direct molding of optical components (such as lenses, gratings, waveguides) through additive manufacturing technology. The materials must have high light transmittance and surface smoothness (roughness <10nm).
Technical advantages:
Complex structure: It can manufacture shapes that are difficult to achieve with traditional processing, such as free-form surfaces and microstructure arrays.
Rapid prototyping: No mold is required, shortening the R&D cycle (such as custom Fresnel lenses).
Integration: Directly print monolithic devices with optical paths and mechanical structures.

UV ink: T-6600 resin is recommended for optical functional films, lamination protection films, prism BEF brightening films. The coating is colorless, highly transparent, high hardness, and good protective function. Fast curing, extremely low shrinkage. The film does not warp or curl when cured.
UV adhesive: Applicable to optical lens bonding, optical fiber coating, good toughness, long-lasting stability under double 85 conditions.
Products Description
Monomer: PHEA and OPPEA high refractive index monomers are recommended for surface coating. Monofunctional monomers such as THFA, TBCHA, and IBOA are used for bonding applications.
Solvent: It is miscible with esters, ketones, or aromatic solvents, but cannot be dissolved in a single alcohol solvent. It is soluble in a mixed solvent containing alcohol and ether.
Polymer: It can be well soluble with polyester, epoxy, polyurethane, phosphate, and acrylate to meet the needs of formulation.
