High Stability Cationic Thermal Initiator
CTI-360 is a closed sulfonium antimonate cationic initiator with a slightly higher deblocking temperature, but better storage stability. It is particularly used in systems such as alicyclic epoxy and oxetane that are not suitable for amine curing agents. Or as an effective supplement to light-curing initiators, it can be used as a dual-curing application under light-free conditions or for extra-thick coatings. In industries such as electronic packaging, 3D printing, and epoxy composite molding, it can be used as a cross-linking agent for post-curing reactions to make the final curing of the main resin more complete, and the cured film will not turn yellow and there will be no free acid residue.
These initiators usually initiate reactions at relatively high temperatures and remain highly active at room temperature or slightly above. This makes them suitable for applications requiring high-temperature, high-performance curing. Selecting the appropriate high-cure cationic thermal initiator depends on the specific application needs, material type and desired cure temperature range.
