Polyhydroxy compound PAS-12 is a photosensitive sensitizer, which can increase or enhance the response ability of photosensitive materials to light. Photosensitive sensitizers can trigger or enhance photochemical reactions under the action of these photosensitive materials, usually through absorption. This is achieved by absorbing light energy and transferring it to light-sensitive materials.

This product is suitable for cationic curing systems. When the thickness of a single coating exceeds 100um, the addition of PAS-12 hydroxyl polyol compound can promote the ring-opening reaction of the epoxy group and significantly increase the curing rate and cross-linking degree. The surface layer and bottom layer of the coating film react synchronously, and the effect of rapid curing is particularly significant under thick film and low radiation energy conditions.

Products can be used to accelerate the light-curing process in coatings, inks, adhesives, 3D printing and microelectronics manufacturing. They absorb light and cause the material to harden or cross-link quickly, increasing production efficiency.
